The Jordan 1 – Royal Toe is a trainer that many Jordan 1 fans have been waiting for. The trainer officially released on May 9, and like every Jordan 1, the shoe sold out immediately. Every once in a while, restocks come in, which makes it possible for us to get our hands on this shoe.
I (@basnijmegen) was lucky enough to get “Royal Toes”. My first impressions of the shoes were good, I’ve been wearing the Jordan 1s on a regular basis.

When the “Royal Toe” was first announced in 2020, the shoe had a different design than the final release. In this first update, the black area at the heel is blue. Links with “Royal Blue” (2001) and “Vintage Fragments” (2014) were quickly established. Thanks to this color change, the hype has subsided to some extent.

This Jordan is what a Jordan 1 should be. Materials are good, and the Wings logo is again printed on the leather instead of a patch (like the 2020 Pinewood). In my opinion, the shoe would be prettier if the Wings logo was black.
The Royal Toe comes standard with black and blue laces. I personally added white laces, which I think is pretty fresh.
