Go straight. I think the Nike Air Max 1 – Susan (Missing Link) is one of the coolest colorways in my collection. In fact…it was this shoe that reinforced my love for training shoes. My love of animated movies combined with beautiful training shoes makes the Nike Air Max Susan one of my favorite training shoes.
As a (animated) movie lover, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there is a trainer that was inspired by the movie The Missing Link. A cartoon produced by Laika Studios, in which Mr. Link plays the leading role. And this shoe is simply based on Mr. Link. The brown and yellow plaid of his pants and sleeves reappears on the upper edges of the fenders and trainer. The green part of the trainer corresponds to Mr. Link’s vest. In addition, this beautiful shoe has a leather strap in the midsole, the eyeliner on the upper is closed and replaced by buttons, and the insole is made of cork! In short, beautiful colors and materials.
The Nike Air Max Susan – Missing Link was released on December 4, 2019.
On April 12th, I had the Sneakrs app ready, but unfortunately, I was out of luck. The result is a big “L” and the only way to get this shoe is through resale. Since I’ve only been around training shoes for a long time, I haven’t bought a shoe above retail before. This shoe changes all that. After a long time, I decided to buy the Nike Air Max Susan – Missing link.
On the feet, the shoes are even more beautiful and I am very happy that I have them. When I see there’s also a Mr. Link’s Funko Pop, I’ll be able to finish the series.
