The collaboration between Nike and the store sometimes works well, sometimes it doesn’t. This time, Nike SB will collaborate with German Civilization (Berlin). In 2009, Civilist opened in Berlin. A futuristic-looking skate shop as it is located in a former art gallery. Nike SB has always been fascinated by this store as it was also a temporary pop-up store for NikeSB. So now they have the opportunity to launch their own trainer.
The 1st rumor doesn’t seem to be true
Initial rumors about the trainer did not appear to be true. Rumor has it that the NikeSB Dunk has a very similar upper to the Supreme Dunk or Dunk Low Elephant. Next to the shoe is an insole, which seems to fit the theme of this shoe. Will there be two Civilist X NikeSB shoes?
The above shoe therefore does not seem to be the sneaker that belongs to the insole. There is a kind of ‘Heat Map’ on the insole.
Civilist x Nike SB Dunk Low QS (CZ5123-001)
The name of the shoe has not yet been officially confirmed. There are several names going around. For example, we have seen the name Thermal and Heat Map pass by. It could also be a combination of both.
The unique thing about this shoe is the fact that it turns into light. The shoe goes from a dark to a colored colorway. Under sunlight, a ‘heat map’ is created on the upper of the shoe.
